Addressing the National AI Expo 2025, the country\u2019s first-ever artificial intelligence conference and exhibition, held on 29 September at the Monarch Imperial Hotel, Battaramulla, the Prime Minister reiterated the Government\u2019s commitment to ensuring that technological transformation benefits all citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe future of our nation\u2019s digital transformation depends on equipping our people with the knowledge and skills to embrace new technologies. Our goal is to make these opportunities accessible to everyone, so that technology becomes a tool for inclusive growth,\u201d Dr. Amarasuriya stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She further noted that digitalisation is not merely about adopting advanced systems, but also about empowering communities, bridging divides, and ensuring inclusivity as Sri Lanka transitions towards a smarter and more connected future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
