Speaking at the \u201cFuture of AI Begins Today\u201d<\/em> conference this morning, the Deputy Minister shared the news, highlighting the successful outcome of months of collaboration between the Ministry of Digital Economy and Google.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am excited to announce the news that I received just this morning. Google has agreed to provide their student offer with Gemini advanced features and other benefits for Sri Lankan students free of cost. This is a game changer,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

According to Deputy Minister Weeraratne, the initiative will enable every student across the country to access world-class AI tools, cloud platforms, and learning resources<\/strong> at no cost. He emphasised that the move marks a major step forward in Sri Lanka\u2019s efforts to embrace digital transformation and ensure equal opportunities for students nationwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
