Medihelp Hospitals Bandaragama, in partnership with Hemas Pharmaceuticals, successfully concluded its second private sector CSR community health event under the flagship initiative ‘Suwajeewa.’ The program provided free diabetes screening for over 100 residents, reinforcing the private sector’s active contribution to public health and well-being.

As part of this CSR event, participants received comprehensive blood glucose assessments, personalized consultations, and lifestyle education from healthcare professionals. The initiative aims to promote early detection of diabetes and support communities in managing non-communicable diseases more effectively.

This CSR effort reflects our responsibility as a private healthcare provider to extend beyond clinical settings and actively support community wellness. By offering early detection and health education, we empower individuals to make informed lifestyle choices.

Hemas Pharmaceuticals’ Suwajeewa platform has been recognized as a leading private sector CSR model, improving access to healthcare and raising awareness about preventable diseases across Sri Lanka.
